mature funny man
I am, if I may say so, a very mature funny man. I am involved in the arts. I am a retired professor of art history and a former museum director. I am continuing with my writing projects. I love to travel, cook and converse. I also love laughter. Humor is that crazy glue keeping my brain together. I may be considered to be a bit old; yet, physically I am about 15 years younger than my age. I have always been involved in athletics.
I would like to meet an intelligent, attractive woman who likes reading, movies, museums, good food and wine, and sports, but if not all of the above, one or two would be good. Enjoying travel to warm destinations is good too. Someone who can tolerate my bad jokes may be too much to hope for. Ideally she is looking for friendship and a long term commitment (sounds a bit like prison). I am a passionate caring person who wants, in my own modest way, to make the world a better place; and, I would like to find an amazing lady who shares these characteristics. This is not to say that we must see eyetoeye on all things. After all, I believe that healthy arguments and stimulating discourse often lead to wonderful intercourse. So, let's eat, drink, talk, smile, laugh and see where life leads us. I adore beautiful things and the gracefulness that surrounds us: in dance, words, the dance of words, sports, music, nature and in each other. My old body has a few dents and dings; but like a nice, comfortable old car, I still run smoothly. I exercise regularly, but, I'm not obsessed. I am an old fashioned gentleman with a new age edge. I am interested in fun and friendship. I am a hopeless romantic. I will hold the door for you, send you flowers, shower you with gestures of love and affection; but, I won't smoother you with jealousy or demands. I will hope to be that fresh, fragrant breath of air that fans your flame so that you, and all those around you, will wonder at your bright light.
