They were each complete in themselves, and deemed themselves perfect. In their pride, they rebelled against the gods, whereupon the irate Zeus split each of them in half, scattering the halves all over the earth. Ever since, the myth has it, each half has been searching for its other half. This yearning for completion and fullfillment through finding one's other half is what I call love.
I would like this: A woman who understands this feeling. Imagine this: The feeling that Adam had when God woke him up from his sleep. The feeling he experienced looking into the eyes of the woman that was made JUST for him. After being put to sleep in order to have a rib removed, then using that rib to create the only woman in the world for him, then waking up to see her. That is love. Love in the purest sense of the word.
